Fosters to pull out of F1
It's a sad, sad day in F1. Why? well Fosters have announced that they will be pulling out of F1 global sponsorship. This will impact us most noticeably with the loss of the Fosters Pit Girls.
Richard Scully the MD at Fosters said "As part of a program to significantly reduce overheads within the Fosters Brewing International business, Fosters Group will not be renewing its sponsorship of Formula One at the end of the current season when it's contractual obligations expire"
Oh well, lets hope that someone else picks up the mantle. The Fosters Girls have been a standard part of F1 for 20 years now, and they will be sorely missed.
It may turn out to be bad news for the Australian A1 GP Team as well, as they are currently sponsored by the Australian brewer.
