Rossi to make his mind up soon? Schumi signed?

270722_987112_317_238.jpgValentino Rossi has announced that he will decide if he is staying in MotoGP or if he is going to try and emulate John Surtees and be world champion in both the 2 and 4 wheel disciplines.

Rossi has said that he will make the choice sometime before the end of June. If other rumours are true then Michael Schumacher has already signed another 2 year $60 million contract with Ferrari. This combined with the basic 'public' knowledge that Kimi has been asked (with a $5 million retainer) to give Ferrari first refusal on his contract, it looks like Rossi may not have anywhere to go.

Or will he? Now that Schumi has signed for Ferrari conceivably until he retires, and I doubt Ferrari will upset that carthorse bringing Kimi in. Renault will be on the lookout for an 'Ace' driver so I would think Kimi may end up their. Leaving Ferrari with a junior seat to fill. Yes Massa could fill that seat, but I think he may end up elsewhere, so Rossi could sit alongside the 'master' in the prancing horse team.

So then will Rossi jump ship? or will Yamaha pay him enough to keep him in MotoGP? or will Ducati offer a bigger lump of cash and have 'The Doctor' race for them instead. Only time will tell.
