MF1 get a new Toyota
The Midland F1 team are getting a step up in pace courtesy of a new specification of Toyota V8 for the European GP.
The team tried the new engine at the Silverstone test as well as changes to the chassis to try improve the qualifying performance of the M16.
"We have a couple of performance updates for the M16 following our testing at Silverstone last week, as well as an engine upgrade as we fit our third set of two-race engines. We expect race strategy to be similar to what we have seen at other events recently but, of course, the weather at the Nurburgring is notorious. The race is also taking place a little bit earlier this year, so anything could happen!", Dominic Harlow said.
