Engines being brought forward
It seems that with the engine freeze looming closer anf closer that the F1 engine manufactureres are trying to rush their 2007 programs through.
Both Renault and Honda have said that they are to run new specification unit's at Imola, with Honda stating it will be their 2007 development unit's in the car.
It seems that with the engine being locked off from development next year the teams will need to risk reliability in the hope that the 2007 unit's will prove to be more performant than the 2006 ones.
It would not be a supprise to see the other majour engine manufacturers bring in their 2007 engines before or at the China race.
