Canadian GP
Well by now you know that the win went to Lewis Hamilton, and well done to him. However besides the crushing victory by the McLaren under Lewis’s control there are other things to speak of.
First and foremost we wish Robert Kubica a speedy and trouble free recovery from his hurt leg, after a massive crash entering the hairpin section of the track.
The Kubica crashed caused a lengthy outing of the pace car, as the stewards, medical staff and officials tried to clear first Robert from the car, and then the massive amounts of debris the crash caused.
The amazing thing about the crash however is that Robert suffered no more than a sprained ankle, and bruises and abrasions.
The medical staff were on the scene very promptly, and the BMW Sauber seemed to hold up to the massive 180MPH accident well considering the number of walls and rolls it was subjected to.

Hamilton and Ferrari?
DailyF1News is mentioning a possible switch for Hamilton to Ferrari?
Now I really think this is a bit of rubbish. Hamilton clearly is disappointed with the team orders fiasco (which McLaren have been let off by the FIA). He clearly thought he could win the race, which he possibly could, however the team wanted both cars to finish the race, and I doubt that they would have if Hamilton had attempted or even made the overtaking move. Monaco is such a file-a-stern race.
Lewis probably said something that meant nothing of the sort, and the English press, feeling ‘robbed’ of there new heroes win have shot it out of all proportion.
Lewis has been a McLaren fan boy since he was a nipper, he is contracted to the team till at least 2011, and thinks of Ron Dennis as a second father. He would not broker a change to Ferrari, and Ferrari will not be looking to replace the ‘iceman’ Kimi Raikkonen quite so soon, after all he has not got used to the team and car yet.
