Qualifying went pretty much as usual,with all the usual suspects making it through to Q3.

No the news is that due to a failed tyre gun Lewis Hamilton had a failure of the right front wheel at 140Mph.

This put Lewis off the track and into the tyre barriers, Lewis was taken to the medical center, and then to the local hospital.

The good news is that Lewis is going to take to the grid, unfortunately though it will be in 10th on the start.

So can Lewis prove his worth, he has now had his rookie ‘big off’, and we hope to see some of the trademark overtaking that Lewis has got a name for.
