Australia practice 2
It looked for a long time that the local boy Mark Webber was going to set the fastest session time in the Red Bull, however it was not to be, as Lewis came out towards the end of the session and smashed the time Webber set by nearly a second.
Again we saw quite a few of the drivers having moment’s as they tried to work out where the edge of the envelope was.
Trulli was the biggest looser in this session, loosing the back of the car during braking by touching the grass and parking the car in the sand. However there was also a big spin from Felipe.
Behind Lewis and Mark, was Felipe, Heikki, Coulthard, Raikkonen, Trulli, Rosberg, Fisichella and Glock with the tenth placed Glock just over 2 seconds slower than Lewis.
Sebastian Bordais seemed like he is still getting used to turning right instead of left, as he finished the session third last in front of the two Super Aguri cars.
Nelson Piquet seemed to be at odds as well, as he has finished in the bottom section of the times both sessions so far.
The two BMW cars seem to be slow, so they are either struggling, or still Sand Bagging, and I would put money on the former.
Anyhow, it looks like it might be a close Qualifying session, the front runners will still be the McLaren and Ferrari drivers, but the chasing pack is certainly clumped up this year.
