RIP : David Leslie
It’s a sad day when we have to say goodbye to anyone, even worse when that person is a truely great and likable character, and that is what David Leslie was to a lot of people.
David was involved in a plane crash over the weekend that took his and Richard Lloyd’s (Apex Motorsport boss) life. Also on the plane where Christopher Allarton, and pilots Mike Roberts and Michael Chapman.
David Leslie was probably best known for his Touring Car appearances, and as far as I know, was one of those rare drivers who did not have a person that disliked him.
He was a mentor to drivers like David Coulthard and Alan McNish, who he coached through there lower formula days.
We offer our condolences to all family and friends involved.
