Barcelona Testing
First and foremost, apologies on the lack of updates, right now that’s over with, on with testing news.
McLaren - The Woking team have been showing serious pace at Barcelona. Both days of testing so far have had the McLaren Mercedes team showing their form.
The fastest man on the track, squashing talk that he would not get on without the TC to help, is Lewis Hamilton. He set a time Tuesday of 1.21.234, with is nearly a second quicker than he managed on Monday. His team mate joining him on the top of the charts, and not far off the pace either. Heikki Kovalainen set a 1.21.434 time in his 68 laps around the track.
Ferrari - Kimi and Filipe have been on track, as (see pic left) has the might Michael Schumacher.
Kimi set the third fastest time yesterday, with Felipe setting fifth fastest.
The Ferrari is certainly looking strong, but perhaps not quite as strong as in the January testing, with even Michael being quoted as saying he believes neither Ferrari or Mclaren are quicker than each other.
