The Williams Testing
Here are some pictures of the Williams FW-29B running in the first of the celebration colour schemes.
The 500 is clearly visible on the cars, and the black paintwork does a good job of hiding the fact that the FW-29B is certainly not running in the same aero layout as the FW-29 did last year. The other thing to notice is that on one of the cars (number 8 car), Williams are running the wheel cowlings that Ferrari made famous, and then Toyota copied. However they are obviously unsure if the design works or not, as it’s only running on that one car, it could obviously be that the team have not had a chance to make two set’s yet.
Let’s hope the FW-30 turns out to be one of Williams landmark cars, they seem to have them every now and again, they tend to be able to go for years with a drought, then suddenly pull a championship contender car out from nowhere.
