Update before the start
There have been some changes on the grid, so I thought I would mention them before the race starts.
Giancarlo Fisichella has lost five places on the grid due to a breach of article 31.7 of the FIA Sporting code. He was judged to have impeded Sakon Yamamoto in the first phase of qualifying.
Then we have the Alonso / Hamilton incident. The Stewards have decided that Alonso unnecessarily impeded Hamilton and so Alonso has a 5 place drop on the grid as well.

Blocking rules re-thought
The rule that had Alonso demoted five places at Monza is said to have been changed.
The teams where issued a notice from the FIA with Charlie Whiting saying
“Complaints that a driver has been impeded during qualifying will no longer be referred to the stewards of the meeting,” he wrote.
“Only in cases where it appears to race control that there has been a clear and deliberate attempt to impede another driver will the stewards be asked to intervene.”
Charlie however did state that he was not impressed with Renault's shouting, at the penalty given to Alonso.

Alonso Penalised
The stewards have penalised Alonso for impeding Massa's progress during qualifying.
However the demotion to 10th on the grid (5 place drop) has caused some controversy. There has been words of 'Ferrari Fix' being said all over the paddock.
The Renault teams had a press conference this morning and showed the video evidence the stewards used to penalise Alonso.
It looks like the stewards have certainly got it wrong, and everyone is asking why did Ferrari even bring it up.
So will this impact the championship? and will Renault go to the court of appeal?
One thing is certain, Renault will not let this lie.
The full decision of the stewards
A report was received from the race director that stated that the driver of car no. 1, Fernando Alonso, had impeded another driver during qualifying, namely Felipe Massa, car no. 6.
The stewards, after hearing the explanation of both the drivers, their team managers, and having seen video evidence and data supplied by Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, find that:
